I have written poetry for as long as I can remember. And I try and read a book or 2 of poetry each year.

Tears

Tears are the essence of the healthy heart.
Those who cry too much or too easily,
don’t know there hearts.
Those who don’t cry or will not cry,
will not allow themselves to know their hearts.
Tears are for healing, joy and pain;
each type is different and useful.
