I have written poetry for as long as I can remember. And I try and read a book or 2 of poetry each year.

there's nothing but miles
and miles of roads before me
nothing but tears and pain at my back
the night seems endless
and the days too short.
I just need a little help and support
to make it thru this time of trial
to make it thru the pain

The night sees to go on and on
although it seems endless i know there is a dawn
for my lord he will come
and rescue me
for he has promised
and his promises all come true

When the dawn breaks and i see the light
I'll see my lord was always true
he stood beside me
and helped me thru
i know he wants to help you too

he will come and abide with you
you can know his promises too

he is the way

for he is the truth
